Barcelona, Spain Celebrity Constellation May 17-28 - Barcelone, Spain

Take to the Mediterranean Sea aboard the Celebrity Constellation for a 11-night Western European cruise to ports in France, Italy, Montenegro, and Croatia. Begin in Barcelona, Spain, known for its vibrant Catalan culture and the unmistakable architecture of Antoni Gaudi, including Sagrada Familia. Set off to Sete, France, previously a thriving stop for African spice merchants. Today, Sete is a charming harbor town full of museums, chapels, art galleries and 18th-century architecture.

Continue your journey and spend the next 2 days in Cannes, France. Walk along the Croisette promenade and discover how the city balances the charms of the Old-World French Riviera with modern-day life. If you’re feeling lucky, venture along the coast to Monte Carlo and try your hand at one of the city’s famous casinos. Make your next stop in Livorno, a prime port for trips to nearby Pisa — site of the famous Leaning Tower — and Florence, birthplace of the Renaissance. Continue to the eternal city of Rome, renowned for its historic sculptures, artworks and architectural feats, including the Colosseum, the Pantheon and all the marvels of Vatican City.

Spend a relaxing day at sea before you dock in Kotor, Montenegro, a well-preserved medieval town on the Adriatic coast, with architecture dating back to the 9th century.

From there, head to Dubrovnik, Croatia, and explore the city’s scenic shoreline, centuries-old walls, and distinctive terracotta-roofed villages. The following day, spend time in Croatia’s second-largest city, Split. It was once under Roman, Byzantine and Venetian rule, which have each left architectural mark on the city’s buildings. Diocletian’s Palace — built at the turn of the 4th century — is Split's most famous remnant of the Roman Empire. From there, journey to Venice, Italy, and disembark.

What we love:
• Cannes is perhaps best known for the prestigious international film festival it hosts each year in May.
• Tour major landmarks in Kotor such as St. Tryphon’s Cathedral or the Collegiate Church of St. Mary Youghal before exploring the fortified town’s walls or the Maritime Museum of Montenegro.
• Dubrovnik’s iconic medieval walls serve as the backdrop for the Battle of the Blackwater, among the most exciting scenes from season 2 of HBO’s award-winning series “Game of Thrones.”
• Florence is home to Brunelleschi’s Duomo, Michelangelo’s “David” and thousands of other masterworks in the Uffizi Gallery.
